After a short battle for his health, we had to put Buddy down on Wednesday, November 25th. He was only 4 1/2 years old. The vet believes that he had stomach cancer that spread to his liver; and he was essentially in liver failure when we put him down. He went from being a 75 lb dog to about 41 lbs on Wednesday. He was truly the best dog I've ever known and we will miss him. He will be cremated and his ashes will be spread at Canyon Lake. We love you Bud-Dog.

This is his "Praise Jesus" trick:

How can you not love this face?

The Ten Years of Triad Anniversary Party was a blast! On Saturday, November 7th, the company I work for had an anniversary party on a 117' yacht. We set sail at 6:00 pm and had a seated dinner, music from a DJ, and a casino set-up to play. We sailed around Lake Houston and the ship channel, throwing beads out to the people walking along the Kemah boardwalk ("Mardi Gras style" as we were told). There was plenty of wine and beer to keep everybody happy too. With the "money" Justin and I won in the casino games, we entered drawings for prizes. I ended up winning a red Nikon camera. At 10:00 pm we were back to the dock and the night was over. (Except for the few of us, CEO included, who went to Joe's Crab Shack on the Kemah boardwalk for the after-party!) I'm sure I will add more pictures later of the party because we also had a professional photographer on board the whole time. When those pictures are available, I will paste some in here.
